Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) Is an entrance examination tailored for prospective business school students. Its primary purpose is to evaluate the aptitude of individuals seeking admission to business programs.
The GMAT assesses various competencies, including analytical writing, problem-solving abilities, critical reasoning, logical thinking, and the capacity to determine data sufficiency. These skills are directly pertinent to the demands of business school curriculum.
GMAT testing is conducted and overseen by GMAC, the Graduate Management Admission Council. This standardized test is utilized by a vast network of over 2,000 universities across more than 100 countries, with examination centers operating in excess of 600 locations worldwide.
The Graduate Management Admission Test is a computer adaptive test intended to assess certain analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in written English for use in admission to a graduate management program.

Exam Pattern
- Analytical Writing Assessment (30 minutes) : 1 Argument essay to measure critical thinking and communication skills.
- Integrated Reasoning (30 minutes) : 12 Questions to analyze data and interpret information presented in varied formats.
- Quantitative Section (62 mins) : 31 Questions to measure your ability to analyze data and use reasoning skills to draw conclusions.
- Verbal Section (65 mins) : 36 Questions to measures your ability to read and understand written material, evaluate arguments and correct written material to conform to standard written English.
- Total Scores : GMAT scores are out of 800.
- Total Time : 3 hours - 7 minutes.
